First in Kyrgyzstan we would like to offer you a Jeep Tour by the most passable car "Niva Taiga"!!! This tour has been developed specially for those people who want to ride their "iron horses" themselves along dirt roads, to feel spirit of adventurism and real extreme when crossing mountain passes. The itinerary is laid in such way to cross Kyrgyzstan from the north to the south and from the west to the east for several days. "Niva Taiga" was created specially for driving in bad road conditions. It cannot provide you with enough comfort however this is a perfect car for off-road drive. Even Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has bought "Niva Taiga"! Our roads and nature around won't leave you and your friends indifferent!!! Jeep tour: "The place where the roads end..." Period: 12 days Day 1: Bishkek Your guide is meeting you at Manas International Airport and taking you to Bishkek city (30 minutes). The whole day will be devoted to city tour as every participant of the jeep tour has different arrival time and it is necessary to have a good rest before our trip. The city tour includes visiting Central Ala-Too Square, Oak Park, Victory Square, Historical Museum, National Philharmonic Hall, Eastern Bazaar and lots of other interesting places. Day 2: Bishkek - Issyk-Kul Today you are going along a good road to the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Issyk-Kul. On the way you are going through Boom Gorge and visiting a place with petroglyphs dated to the 8th century BC. Then you are going into Grigorjevskoe Gorge by jeeps and going out through Semenovskoe Gorge. You are spending the night in an Issyk-Kul resort. Day 3: Issyk-Kul - Jeti Oguz After breakfast you are going along the northern lakeside to Jeti Oguz Gorge. Jeti Oguz is translated as seven bulls in honor of red rocks that decorate this place. On the way there you are visiting Karakol town where you can see ancient Dungan mosque built without a single nail and a wooden church built more than 100 years ago. This night you are spending in felt houses of nomads - yurts! Day 4: Jeti Oguz - Kyzyl Suu This day you are going to one of the most beautiful ravines - Kyzyl Suu. On the way there you will have a chance to swim in Issyk-Kul Lake on a lonesome beach. In the ravine start impassable roads. You are driving along the ravine at low speed as the road runs along a fast and wild river. The night you are spending at the old geographical station situated in a very picturesque part of the ravine. This day and all the following days you will be followed by a military ZIL 6WD. It can always help you in case of bad weather and badly washed out road. Day 5: Kyzyl Suu - Juuku After breakfast you are returning to the main road which goes along the southern lakeside of Issyk-Kul. Then in 15km you are coming into the next gorge - Juuku. The road in this gorge is much more difficult as there are more precipices and overflowed rivers. You are going to the end of this gorge to the foot of Dongereme pass. You will feel your ascendance over nature when you have got over all the barriers on your way! You are spending the night in the camp. Day 6: Juuku - Kochkor Today you are going to Kochkor village. You are coming back in the morning along the same road (if it can be called so) and going along the southern lakeside of the pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake. In the evening, having passed all mountain gorges leading to Kochkor, you are having national dinner with a Kyrgyz family seeing folklore show. Also you can take part in making felt carpets and even make your own pattern. Day 7: Kochkor - Tash Rabat Caravan-Sarai Today you are starting very long but incredibly beautiful way - the way to ancient Caravan-Sarai - Tash Rabat! This is a unique construction of 14 century located in the very center of the Tien-Shan that has no analogue in the whole world as Tash Rabat was made totally of stones and was built inside the mountain at altitude of 3200m above sea level. There are 31 rooms in the mountain and the walls are 1m thick. There is also dungeon built for thieves prisoning in ancient times. This night you are spending in the nomads' yurts. Day 8: Tash Rabat - Son-Kul This road will not only lead along picturesque ravines but there is also a pass over 3600m high and serpentine gravel road going up. This will be the last point from where you can see virgin Son-Kul Lake! This lake is situated far from civilization, it is so quiet there that this quietness affronts the ear. There live nomads and you are spending the night in their yurts. Day 9: Son-Kul Today you have enough time to rest in the calm of nature and enjoy its beauty. In the afternoon you are going to the mountaintop to see petroglyphs. From this top there is a beautiful view to the entire Son-Kul Lake! Day 10: Son-Kul - Bishkek Today you are going as off roads so along sealed roads. You are crossing another pass that will also give you much pleasure. After the off roads you are getting to the highway Bishkek - Osh and crossing a pass 3582m high! In Bishkek you are having goodbye dinner and spending the night in the hotel. Day 11: Airport Flight home.
