Day 1: Yerevan Now we have a sightseeing tour along the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan. Today it is going to be the view of the city starting from the meeting in the airport. So Yerevan is seen as the town at the altitude of 900 to 1300 m, being the largest city of the country ever. At the same time it is peculiar for being located at the Ararat plain of the Caucasus Mountains. The capital seems to be created in the 8th century. Then dinner is spent in the restaurant, night is offered in the hotel. Day 2: Yerevan - Echmiadzin - Yerevan For better view of the city is taken from the observation deck of Victory Park, as from there the way to Cascade is made. This is known as the museum under the open air. Also here guests have a view of the Opera and Ballet Theater, Sergei Parajanov Museum and then Echmiadzin city. This is known to be the city of religious meaning, where the Church of St. Hripsime is located. This church was created in the 7th century. Also the view of the Mother See Cathedral of St. Echmiadzin is taken as well. Going along the city and the country guests have a chance to view the works of sculptor Kochar - Sasuntsi David, with then getting to see the "Megerian Carpet" factory, where carpets of 400 years old are located. Getting the capital back, guests have a walk along the Northern Avenue and the Republic Square, which is popular for the singing fountains. Night is offered to be spent in the hotel. Day 3: Yerevan - Goris Our team is glad to offer breakfast and take the way to the Ararat valley, with then to be made to Khor Virap monastery. This location is connected with the time of adoption of Christianity in the 4th century. This is going to be the way to the Mount Ararat and then to the Areni village. Later on, guests have a visit of the Vayots Dzor region, popular for being the region of wine making. At the same time this period of winemaking seems to start about 6000 years ago, the proofs to which were found in the cave in September 2008. For the conclusion of the day we have a route to the 13th century Noravank monastery. Having lunch we get to Goris village. Night is spent in the hotel. Day 4: Goris - Yeghegis In Goris village guests have a chance to take a route to Zorats Karer (Karahunj), identified as one of the archaeological site, being also the megalithic construction. While we get to the site, big monoliths can be noticed. And then it is better to know that it is based at the altitude of 1770m above sea level. Moreover, the location Karahunj is identified to be the observatory about the 6th millennium BC. Also here there is a special location determined to show the sky and stars of 7.5 thousand years ago. For seeing the pearl of the country, we would like to take you to Tatev, where the longest cable car, above the Vorotan gorge, of 320m deep. Having lunch, invitees get to Yeghegis and spend night there. Day 5: Yeghegis - Sevan lake - Dilijan Selim Pass is located at the height of 2500m and is identified to be the most amazing site of Armenia. It leads to Lake Sevan, the gem of the local people and the country. Moreover, this is one of freshwater lake at the altitude of 1900m. As well, Ayrivank and Noradus Monasteries are seen today, but then the trip is made to Tsaghkunk for lunch. Finding yourself in the Sevanavank Monastery, boarders can find out of it to be created in 874, Princess Mariam. It is located at the cape, in the center of the mountains. At last we get to the town as Dilijan. It is known for natural views and extremely fresh air. Also here we can feel the nature of the 19th century town. Night is prepared in the hotel. Day 7: Gyumri - Yerevan Have a trip along the Gyumri, with the getting to Sev Berd, the Museum of Crafts and Frunzik Mkrtchyan. We are glad to serve lunch in the Cherkezi Dzor restaurant with then taking the way to Mount Aragats, with the following Saghmosavank Monastery (Psalm Monastery) to be visited. This Monastery is located at the height of the gorge of the Kasakh River. One of the monuments to be seen by us, is the stella with the letters of the Armenian alphabet. It was put in 2005 in honor of the 1600th anniversary as there was the celebration of alphabet founding. Night is offered in the hotel of Yerevan. Day 8: Yerevan - Garni - Yerevan For the following location to be seen is the canyon of the Azat River, being rather charming, with being the starting point to the Geghard monastery of the 13th century. This monastery was created as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, as the rocky complex. Today it is seen as the location of carved in a rock. Later on, we would like to show the views of Garni village. It is famous for being the home of the Symphony of Stones and well known pagan temple created in the Hellenistic style. Also the village is known to emerge in the 77 AD. All along the tour the group has lunch in resident's house and try traditional food. Getting to the principal city, the sites as Yerevan Brandy Factory and ARARAT Museum are visited by us. There we can view craftsmanship and history of the local people. Night is planned in the hotel. Day 9: Flight Transfer to airport.
