This tour gives you the perfect possibility to discover the wonderful land of celestial mountains, situated in Central Asia. You will enjoy scenery of our nature, untouched uninhabited places, and highly memorable ancient sights! The whole route runs along the Great Silk Road passing through the incomparable Tian Shan massif. You will have rest at the shore of the world's second largest alpine lake Issyk-Kul, and the colorful Son Kul Lake, that situated on a high plateau in the heart of Kyrgyzstan (3013m. above sea level). This tour will carry you back to the time of nomadic life, their traditions, culture and food.

Tour summary:

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake

Guide will take you from Manas Airport and attend to Bishkek City to have a breakfast. Then you will be transported to the matchless celestial Issyk Kul Lake (200 km), the 2nd largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level). On our way, we will go to the Burana Tower (minaret of the Karahanids' city) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After lunch we continue our trip to the lake. After arrival in Hotel you will have a rest on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Because of the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses healing qualities. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol

Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you have free time to enjoy the lake before you start your trip to Karakol city by car (200 km). On the way, we will make a short stop to visit ancient stone depictions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. At 12 o'clock you will have a lunch before continuing the way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the wonderful pearl of Central Asia, which's beauty you will be able to delight during cruise on a steam boat. Then you will be transferred to Karakol city. National dinner will be at 8 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse.

Day 3: Karakol - Tamga

You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. In the morning you will have a guided Karakol City Tour. In the program there is a visit to the Dungan mosque and a small Russian Orthodox Church. Afterwards, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. He crossed Taklamakan desert and the discovered of more than 4000 animals, after city tour we move to Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and Yuri Gagarin's holiday's house or you can go to a colorful Chong Kyzyl Suu valley with its hot spring water and geophysics station built in 1948. Then transfer to Tamga village. Dinner will be served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you stay for the night; sauna optional.

Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km)

Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. You will drive to Kochkorka after lunch and befoe that you have time to explore the village. The way runs through Bokonbaeva village, where lunch will be served in the house of a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). We continue trip to Kochkorka via the picturesque Orto-Tokoi water reservoir. At the Kochkorka village you will stay in the Kochkor Guesthouse. There you also visit a family that shows you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet.

Day 5: Kochkorka - Son Kul Lake

After breakfast we start drive to Son Kul Lake (the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan). Lunch will be taken on the way. The altitude of Son Kul Lake is 3013 meters above sea level, it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads used to come to this amazing area with their families for rest and relaxation. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. It is original nomad's dwelling that is gorgeous ornamented inside and covered by white felt.

Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)

After long and nice sleep you have free day at Son-Kul Lake, when you will explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings on your own. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will walk or ride a horse to ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great opportunity to get acquainted with nomadic traditional culture. National dinner will be served in yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do.

Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek

Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then we start our trip back to the capital of Kyrgyzstan. In Bishkek you will have a city tour and lunch. In the program of the tour there is a central Ala-Too Square, shady Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many other highlights. Wonderful farewell dinner is served at 7 pm. Night is in a Hotel****.

Day 8: Bishkek - Europe

Your guide will meet you in Hotel and attend you to Manas International Airport at the time arranged according to your tickets.
