Kyrgyz Republic is famous for mountain biking tours and now you can also have an opportunity to travel there! We would like to offer bike tour that you will like without doubt. It includes the most famous mountain roads of the republic. In order to see pristine nature and unforgettable views you will cycle along the gorges and mountain rivers. Places to visit: Bishkek - Tamchi village - Kochkor - Sarybulak - Jalpak pass - Dzhylangach river - Kichi-Naryn - Naryn town - Bishkek city Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek You will be picked up by your guide in Manas International Airport and accompanied to Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). The drive from the Airport to Bishkek City will take 30 minutes. After accommodation in the hotel*** that is situated in the clam area of the city you will have a rest and then start the day with a breakfast. Today you will have an excursion to Ala-Archa Natural Park, which is located 45 km south Bishkek, on the Kyrgyz ridge (a spur of Tien-Shan), in the Ala-Arch Gorge. To have a nice view of this famous gorge you will go to the top of a mountain. Drive back to Bishkek. At 7 p.m. traditional dinner will be served. Overnight is in the hotel***. Day 2: Bishkek - Tamchi village This day we will drive via Keuk Ayrik pass to Issyk Kul Lake (1608m. above sea level). This lake is the 2nd biggest mountain lake in the world. The Lake is also called "The treasure of Central Asia". Owing to the fact that the water is salty, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. We will have a lunch on Keuk Ayrik Pass. After that we will start cycling down. In the village of Sary Oi our driver will meet us. Drive to the village of Tamchi that is situated on the lake's northern shore. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse. Day 3: Transfer Tamchi - Kochkor - Sarybulak We start our trip by car in the morning. Our way passes via Orto Tokoi water reservoir to Kochkor village. You will meet a family in the Kochkor Village that shows you the way national felt carpets are created. During this felt show you even can create your own carpet together with them. In Kochkor Village you will also visit Kyrgyz museum of handicrafts. After that we will ride to Sary Bulak village (2310 m. alt., 38 km) by the asphalt road. Transfer (7 km, 2390m. alt.) by bike on dirt road to confluence of Biulioomiu and Kara-Kudjur Rivers. Night is in the tent camp. Day 4: Ride by bike to the foot of Jalpak Pass (58 km, 3345 m) This day we are going to ride to the Jalpak Pass foot. This marvelous place will amaze you. It is far away from the busy civilization and you can enjoy its beauty in full. The ride is of temperate complexity in satisfactory conditions, but on dirt road. Along the whole way you will see many wonderful views of the mountains. In the gorge, landscape is similar to tundra. The variety of mountains views on the way will surprise you. Night is in the tents. Day 5: Ride to the Jalpak Pass (3345m. alt.) - Dzhylangach River You will ride to the high Jalpak Pass in the morning. Then we will descend down (25 km) to the Valley of Korumdu, following the way that leads to Kara Saz Region till the River of Dzhylangach (the confluence of Dzhylangach and Balgart Rivers that form the River of Kichi-Naryn). You will have a free time after lunch. From this place you could see the peaks of Kara-Kaman, Burkan and Archaly, which have glacial forms: flat slopes and smooth tops. The lower parts are hilly and covered with loose rock, especially along Balgart River left bank. In the gorge landscape is similar to tundra. Overnight stay is in the tent camp, at the altitude of 2648 meters above sea level. Day 6: Ride (58 km) Dzhylangach - Kichi-Naryn This day is easy one. You will cycle along the Rivers of Kichi-Naryn and Balgart. Cycling is on the dirt road. Near Kichi-Naryn River, in the forest, in tents you will spend this night. Since ancient times this place is popular among the nomads. Kyrgyz nomads are very hospitable and like to meet travelers. The Kyrgyz shepherds with all their relatives were coming to this area. Certain big tribes could comprise 1000 yurts and even more. As a big family, all of them were going from one place to another one with a great amount of cattle. Day 7: Ride (63 km) Kichi-Naryn - Naryn Town We will ride down to the Kichi-Naryn village (2351m. alt.) after breakfast. Easy day. The Village of Kichi - Naryn is situated 4 km from the confluence of Naryn and Kichi-Naryn Rivers. You will cycle to the town of Naryn (2050 m. alt.) along Naryn River. The road to Naryn will surprise you by its beauty and amazing mountains. The town is situated very close to the mountains, at the altitude of 2800 meters above the sea level. Naryn was built right along the gorge near the longest river in Kyrgyz Republic - Naryn; it is a long narrow town. The whole way passes along the incredible gorges and you will have many stops for taking photos. On the road we will take lunch. You spend this night in yurts, as nomads do. Yurt is nomadic collapsible abode that is made out of wood without using a single nail and felt. Day 8: Transfer to Bishkek city We will drive to Bishkek city in the morning. You will be carried away by the astounding sceneries offered through views of the virgin natural world. You will have free time in the city to go shopping and to walk. You will have a dinner in a restaurant in the evening. You will spend this night in the hotel***. Day 9: Bishkek We will have a city tour in the morning. This city tour includes the visiting of the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. Then we will visit our famous Osh Bazaar. You will walk there and bargain for different goods and you will have a feeling as if you are 1000 years ago. At 7 o'clock a farewell dinner will be served. Overnight stay is in the hotel***. Day 10: Transfer to the airport At the time arranged previously according to your flight details your guide will meet you in your hotel and accompany you to the Airport of Manas.
