 Tour name: The mysteries of the east Highlights of tour: Ashgabat, Nokhur, Kerki, Koitendag, Kow Ata, Turkmenabad. Day 1: Ashgabat You will meet your guide at the airport of Ashgabat. He will make a city tour in Ashgabat. The first you will start from Gokdepe village where you will see the one of the biggest mosques in Central Asia. Turkmenbashy Mosque can welcome more than 10 000 people at the same time. Then we will drive to Hokdepe horse farm to se Akhal Teke horses. We will return to the city for dinner. Then we will visit the Independence Park and the Palace of Happiness. This palace has a wonderful panoramic view to the city. The night is in the hotel. Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow Ata - Nokhur After breakfast we will drive to the lake called Kow-Ata. This lake is unusual because it's underground lake. The lake is in the cave called Bakharden. Kow-Ata means "father of the cave". Also the water of the lake is healing, warm and it's gorgeously beautiful. The thing that it's deep in the cave makes it more mysterious and unusual. In the afternoon we will drive to the region where we will visit the mountain tribes of Nokhur. There are the settlements in Kopet Dag range. They preserved their culture and traditions for the centuries, which is unique. They also preserved their traditional crafts and architecture. The night is in the hotel. Day 3: Nokhur - Ashgabat - Kerki In the morning we will return to Ashgabat. Another city tour will wait us in Ashgabat. First of all we will visit a historic place of Turkmen people. The Memorial Complex that includes three different monuments was dedicated to the different historical facts. First memorial was built in honor of those who died in the earthquake in 1948. The second is for those who lost their lives in World War II. And the third monument is for those who died in other Turkmen battles. The Earthquake Monument is a big bronze feature of bull and a child. In the afternoon we will go to the Russian Market. This market was built by the design of the Russian architect Vladimir Visotin. He was a head of the project called "Ashgabat Reconstruction Program". This program was from 1970-1980 years. The building was built in the Soviet Modernism but the design belonged to the Turkmen sculptor Klych Yarmamedov. Then we will take a train to Kerki town. The night is in the train. Day 4: Kerki - Koytendag Our train will arrive in the mornig to Kerki. After breakfast we will drive to Koytendag mountain and nature place. Koytendag is located in the very east of Turkmenistan. Kugitangtau mountains also called Koytendag are the most scenic in Turkmenistan. The name means " mountains of the deep canyons" from Turkmen language. And its clear why?! This ridge is cut by many deep canyons with steep cliffs. And it permits you to see the sky in form of narrow strip over the head. This mountain system is an area of the highest point of Turkmenistan(3 139m) and of the deepest lake called Kattakol. The night is in the camp. Day 5: Koitendag - Turkmenabat - Ashgabat This day we will have a flight to Ashgabat. The night is in the hotel. Day 6: Flight In the morning is transfer to the airport.
