Experienced tourists usually say «If you have not seen Central Asia, you have not seen the world!". You have no idea how many interesting and mysterious places you are going to see! During this tour you will visit minaret in Balasagyn that called Burana Tower, the second largest mountain lake in the world Issyk-Kul; also it includes visiting of the unique Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle), primordial stone depictions, colorful churches, mosques and many others places. Kyrgyzstan is the place of primeval nature and cherished customs. You will touch to the nomadic life on your own experience.
Tour summary: Day 1: Bishkek city Day 3: Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake After breakfast we start drive to Son Kul Lake (the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan). Lunch will be taken on the way. The altitude of Son Kul Lake is 3013 meters above sea level, it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads used to come to this amazing area with their families for rest and relaxation. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in yurts. It is original nomad's dwelling that is gorgeous ornamented inside and covered by white felt. Day 4: Son Kul Lake After long and nice sleep you have free day at Son-Kul Lake, when you will explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings on your own. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will walk or ride a horse to ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great opportunity to get acquainted with nomadic traditional culture. National dinner will be served in yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do. Day 5: Son Kul Lake - At Bashi After early breakfast we will leave Son Kul with car that brings us to the At Bashi valley (200km). Astonishing scenery of the nature on the way will amaze you by it primeval beauty. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. After that you will spend the night in yurts. Day 6: At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle) After packing your backpacks you will be driven to the Tash Rabat - legendary Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle from the 14th century). This is massive gloomy building with no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones inside a mountain at a height 3200 m a.s.l. There are 31 rooms with walls 1 m thick. There are also underground prison cells for ancient pilferers. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai. Day 7: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. You will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). At the Kochkorka village you will stay in the Kochkor Guesthouse. There you also visit a family that shows you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet. Overnight will be in the Kochkor Guesthouse. Day 8: Kochkor valley - Tamga village You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transported to the matchless celestial Issyk Kul Lake (200 km), the 2nd largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level). On the trip you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the picturesque Orto Tokoi reservoir. arrival in Hotel you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Because of the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses healing qualities. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night. Day 9: Tamga - Karakol Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you have free time to enjoy the lake till 12 pm. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). Delicious lunch will be served in the Karakol. And then you will have a guided Karakol City Tour. In the program there is a visit to the Dungan mosque and a small Russian Orthodox Church. Afterwards, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explores. He crossed Taklamakan desert and the discovered of more than 4000 animals. National dinner will be at 8 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse. Day 10: Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol In the morning you will have an excursion to the magnificent Altin Arashan Gorge, you go there by heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altin Arashan ("Golden Spa") gorge is one of the most popular gorges in Karakol because of the Tian-Shan fir trees that grow there wildly and healing properties of the water. After taking a bath in hot springs (there are some special little cabins) you will take lunch in the one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen. Afterwards you will have 1 hour hike in the gorge and then you will be transferred to the city. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse.
Day 11: Karakol - Cholpon Ata Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. After the breakfast you will drive toward Cholpon Ata city along the northern shore of the shining pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake (120km). On the way, we will make a short stop to visit ancient stone depictions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. At 12 o'clock you will have a lunch before continuing the way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the wonderful pearl of Central Asia, which's beauty you will be able to delight during cruise on a steam boat. Your dinner will wait for you at 7 pm in a Hotel, where you will also spend the night. Day 12: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek Day starts with a traditional breakfast at 8 o'clock. This day is going to be very easy and nice. You relax at the beach until lunch, then you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a gorgeous Boom Gorge. At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. Night is in a Hotel****. Day 13: Bishkek - Europe Your guide will meet you in Hotel and attend you to Manas International Airport at the time arranged according to your tickets.
