The land of the crossroads

Day 1: Almaty
You will arrive to the airport of Almaty and meet you guide. Almaty was a capital of Kazakhstan until 1998. You will be transferred to the city and will start a city tour. We will start from Green Bazar, which is a in the heart of Almaty. Green Bazaar is a favorite place for shopping not just for the citizens of Almaty but also for the guests of the city. From bazaar we will walk 10 minutes and will arrive to one of the oldest Parks of Almaty, Panfilov Park. This Park has few sights to see like Wooden Zenkov Cathedral, it was recently restored and it's very beautiful. Another sight is a Memorial Complex and eternal Flame, which was built in honor of the 28 Panfilov's Guardmen who died in a battle close to Moscow in 1441. In the afternoon we will drive to Medeu Gorge, which is 30km away from Almaty. This gorge is famous due to the highest skating rink in the world and a ski resort. Then we will return to the city and take a cable car to Kok Tobe hill, where is the tallest TV tower is located (if count from the seal level). On the top of the hill we will enjoy a panoramic view to the city and take a rest in the park area. The night is in the hotel.

Day 2: Almaty - BAO - Almaty
This day we will explore another wonderful place outside of the city called Bug Almaty lake. The lake is located on the 2 510m in Trans-Ili Alatau. The lake was formed as a result of movement of an ancient glacier. This water has a wonderful color and is a source of potable water for Almaty city. That's why it prohibited swimming in the lake. The road to the lake is a bit higher 3 300 from where we can enjoy an amazing view to the lake. Big Almaty lake is surrounded by the mountains with white peaks and Tian Shan fir-trees. The water surface reflects the sky and it makes the view more incredible. There are many species of the animals in the mountains around the lake. Sometimes it's possible to see Marals, mountain goats, wolves and even bears. The night is in the hotel.

Day 3: Almaty - Kolsai Lakes
In the morning we will drive to KolSai lakes, people it also "Pearl of the Northern Tien-Shan". There are three lakes of Kol Sai, they represent a cascade. The first lake which is the biggest one is accessible for all visitors. It's possible to take a ride on the boat and do a horse riding. The area is full of greenery and mushrooms. We need to walk to reach the second and third lake. There is a vertical drop between the lakes which is 700 meters high. The trail to the lakes goes along the river crossing the fir forests. The water in the lakes is clean and there are many fish. In the territory around the lake is possible to see the animals like Marals, mountaim goats, wolves and even bears. The night is in the guesthouse in the village Saty.

Day 4: Kolsai Lakes - Kaindy Lake
This day we will go to see another lake called Kaindy. Kaindy means "birch", because this lake is situated in the gorge full of birches and pine forest at the altitude 2 000 meters. The lake was formed after an earthquake in 1911 and water covered part of the gorge and some pine trees. The water of the lake is transparent and cold that's why we can see the dry stems of fir trees. The place is magically beautiful, impossible to explain the real mystical splendor of the lake, better to go and see. Upon arrival at the lake we will have a picnic-lunch. Then we will return to Saty village and will have some free time to look around. It's possible to have a horse riding tour (on request). The night is in the hotel.

Day 5: Kolsai Lakes - Charyn Canyon - Almaty
This day we will drive to Charyn Canyon, one of the most incredible places of Kazakhstan. The Canyon surprises with its beauty, the wind, water and time made a wonderful creation that was made in 12 million years. We will go to visit the part of the Canyon called the Valley of the Castles, will have 2 hours hike. At the end of the Canyon we will have a rest on the shore of the river. Then we will enjoy a panoramic view from the top of the Canyon and take many pictures. Drive to Almaty for overnight.

Day 6: Almaty - Nur Sultan
This day we will take a flight to Almaty from the airport of Nur-Sultan. Upon arrival we will start a city tour in the capital of Kazakhstan. First we will see a Constitution Square where the first president of the country announced the decision to move the capital from Almaty to Nur-Sultan was Astana before. Then we will the Presidential Centre of Culture of the Republic of Kazakstan, there is golden man is this museum. The Golden Man is a symbol of Kazakhstan and well-known in whole Central Asia. Another very nice sight of the city is Khan Shatyr shopping center. Then we will go to see a symbol of the capital Astana-Baiterek monument, we will take a lift to the top and enjoy a view to the city. In the afternoon we will go to Kazakh Eli Square whoch is on the other side of the river Ishym. And another unique project we will visit after called the Palace of Peace and Accord. Then we goto see the last sight of the city Palace of Independence we will stop to see a Khazret Sultan mosque. The night is in the hotel.

Day 7: Nur Sultan - Airport
In the morning is transfer to the airport.
