Tour name: Silk Road treasuresHighlights of tour: Tash-Rabat, Kochkor, Bishkek, Ala Archa, Kichi Naryn Day 1: Torugart - Tash Rabat You will meet with your driver on the Chinese-Kyrgyz border at 12 o'clock. Then you will drive to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai. It's a Stone Castle on the Silk Road, dating back to 14th century. Tash Rabat is a unique construction of the Tian Shan Mountains. It was built inside the mountain by the stone blocks. Altitude of Tash Rabat is 3200 meters. There 31 rooms inside the castle and the walls are 1 m thick. Upon the construction located also prison cells, they were used to keep the thieves in times when Tash Rabat was functioning. The dinner will be traditional. The night is in the yurts. Day 2: Tash Rabat - Kichi Naryn - Kochkor This day we will leave Tash Rabat and drive to Kochkor village. We will pass very beautiful gorge Kichi Naryn, we will cross over the pass which is 3 000 meters high. Upon arrival to Kochkor you see a traditional felt carpet show. You can also try and create your own carpet. And we will visit a handicraft museum with many silver decorations, coats made of wolf fur, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other nice things. The night is in the home stay. Day 3: Kochkor - Bishkek Today we will drive to Bishkek, which a capital city of Kyrgyzstan. On the way we will visit Burana Tower. Burana is a minaret dating back to 11th century, this minaret is inside the ancient city Balasagun. The city was one of the main trading centers during the Greta Silk Road. Also insude the ancient city you will see the open air museum of Balbals. Balbals are the grave stones that have the form of the warriors, were made in honor of of the brave soldiers who died in the battles. In the afternoon we will drive to Bishkek. Upon arrival we will have a city half day city tour. We will start from Pobeda square (Victory square), Oak Park, Central square Ala Too, Old square with a statue of Lenin, National Philarmonic Hall and other places. The night is in the hotel. Day 4: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek This day we will drive outside the city to Ala Archa gorge. There is a National Park called Ala Archa. At the Soviet time it was close reserve and just VIP people had permission to go for a walk inside the park. Ala Archa is located 45 km away from Bishkek and it on a spur of the Tien Shan mountain range. We will have a short hiking tour to see a view of the gorge. Then we will drive back to Bishkek. We will have time to visit our local bazaar, it's favorite place for shopping for the citizens of Bishkek. It'san amzing area to take the pictures of locals in their quotidein life. You can find many nice things in this bazaar like souvenirs, fruits, goods from different places. The night is in the hotel. Day 5: Airport In the morning is transfer to airport.
