The present tour comprises the most outstanding places of interest of Kyrgyz Republic that receive the visits of travelers from all over the world. You will be able to visit the most picturesque parts of Kyrgyzstan during this overwhelming tour. You will see alpine lakes, heavenly mountains and some historical monuments that are associated with Great Silk Road. Also it is a great chance to practice the nomadic way of lifestyle. 

 

Day 1: Arrival in Bishkek
You will be met by your guide at Manas Airport and accompanied to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you start the day with a breakfast. After accommodation in a hotel*** that is situated in a silent area of the city you willtake a break. You will have an excursion afterwards to Ala - Archa Natura Park that is situated in the Ala-Arch gorge, on the Kyrgyz ridge, 45 km south from Bishkek - capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will go to the top of a mountain to have a nice view of this famous gorge. Return back to Bishkek City. Night in a Hotel***. Kyrgyz national dishes will be served at 7 p.m.

Day 2: Bishkek - Jukku gorge
At 7 o'clock in the morning breakfast is served in the hotel. After that we will commence our trip by bus to Jukku Gorge. En route we will visit the Tower of Burana - minaret of the 11th century A. D. and its open air Balbals (stone warriors) museum. We will drive through Boom stunning gorge. Your guide will tell you about the nomads' life, their extraordinary traditions and customs. Followed by that along the southern shore of the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake will continue our way to the Gorge of Jukku. Issik - Kul (1608 m. above sea level) is the 2nd world's largest mountain lake. The nickname for this lake is "The Treasure of Central Asia". Upon our arrival in Jukku Gorge we will have hiking to our tent camp through the gorge. In the camp dinner will be served. You will also spend the night there.

Day 3: Jukku gorge
Today you will have becoming accustomed to the climate and natural conditions in Jukku gorge, where you are explore its surroundings on your own hiking alongside the incredible gorge to take a bath in mineral hot water springs; go on its nearest peaks, visit red mountains or just relax in the atmosphere of calm nature. There are amazing mountains, red rocks, and a cave that is called "500 rams". It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. Because there are nomads who still subsist in yurts and come to this summer pastures with their lifestock and they are very hospitable and welcoming. It is possible to try national drink Kumis (alcohol mare's milk) there. You will see the way of national food preparing and you will have a chance even to participate in the procedure to be closer to nomads' life. Traditional national dinner will be served at 7 o'clock.

Day 4: Jukku gorge - Chon Kyzyl Suu
This day after having breakfast we commence our hike to Chon Kyzyl Suu Gorge through the Gorge of Jukka (2520m above sea level). Just as well as ancient merchants did you will hike along the Great Silk Way. You will see our celestial mountains and pristine nature marvelous views during this unforgettable trek. For a night you will stop at the campsite that is based right in the Gorge.

Day 5: Chon Kyzyl Suu
After a delicous breakfast, we leave the camp at 9 am and start our hiking tour to the marvelous Ashu Tor pass (2800m). After eat you will have an ascent to an amazing alpine lake, which finds its origin in a glacier. This place is so distant from civilization and you can relax completely there. You will feel as if you have already visit the wild Tian Shan Mountains 1000 years ago. With a bit of luck you might see mountain goats, ibex. After enjoying the view of the mountain lake we come back to the station. Our cooks will teach you the way of national meals making. You can even participate in the procedure of national dish "plov" (it consists of rice, meet and shredded carrot) cooking.

Day 6: Chon Kyzyl Suu - Djeti Oguz
We will start our way to impressive Djeti Oguz gorge after tasty traditional breakfast. This day you will be surprised with changeable views of the mountains while hiking along magnificent places.

Day 7: Djeti Oguz - Oguz Bashi - Djeti Oguz
You will see many yurts, collapsible felt dwellings of nomads on the way today. You will have hiking up to the Oguz Bashi glacier. It is made of a wooden frame that is covered by felt. You will have a nice picnic with a view of the glacier and then we will come back to campground.

Day 8: Djeti Oguz
You will have time in the morning to walk in the pictorial gorge of Djeti Oguz. You could hike to the Red rocks, which have extraordinary forms. After these rocks the whole gorge was named. Djeti Oguz means "Seven Bulls". In fact, the mountains in the gorge are like huge bulls. There you will see also the mountain that is split in two parts - the Broken Heart and your guides will tell you a beautiful legend about it. Optionally, you could hike to the mountain cascade or could go to the resort that was built in Soviet time; it is situated down the gorge. There if you wish it will be possible to take a bath in the thermal springs and have massage. You will taste our national meal - kurdak in the evening. To reveal all secrets of nomadic cuisine you could also participate in its cooking. You will enjoy Kyrgyz Folklore show during your farewell mountain dinner. You will hear unusual national Kyrgyz instruments and nomadic songs.

Day 9: Djeti Oguz - Issyk Kul Lake
This day you will have a hiking down to the Djeti Oguz gorge, it has a marvelous river that flows along the whole gorge. After packing your backpacks, you are to be served breakfast at 9 o'clock When we will come to the bottom of the gorge you can walk for 15 minutes on the top of the nearest mountain - there is a scenic view on Djeti Oguz (Seven Bulls red sandstone Rocks) and red mountains, that surround it! Then you will be transferred to the northern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also known as "the pearl of Central Asia". It is the biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic. We will dine in a guesthouse, where you are also to spend the night.

Day 10: Issyk Kul - Bishkek
In the morning you have enough time to see Issyk - Kul as closer as possible and to swim in the lake. We start our way back to Bishkek city after delicious breakfast. In Bishkek you will be accommodated in the Guest House of Kyrgyz Nomads. Leaving party. You will have a farewell dinner in the café. This night you will spend in the guesthouse.

Day 11: Flight home
Early in the morning departure transfer is to the airport.
