Tour name: Specials of Turkmenistan Highlights of tour: Ashgabat, Kow Ata, Nokhur, Kerki, Koitendag. Day 1: Ashgabat Upon arrival to Ashgabat you will start a city tour with your guide. At first we will drive to Gokdepe village. In the village we will visit the biggest mosque in Central Asia. Gokdepe mosque is a huge construction that can accommodate more than 10 000 people at the same time. After visiting the mosque we will go to the Gokdepe Horse farm to see the most beautiful horses. The name of the breed is Akhal-Teke, it's a pride of Turkmen people. Then we will return to Ashgabat for dinner. In the evening we will visit the Independence Park and the Palace of Happiness. From the top of the palace we can see a wonderful panoramic view to the city. The night is in the hotel. Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow Ata - Nokhur This day we will visit the lake called Kow-Ata. Thus lake is unusual because it's situated deep in the cave called Bakharden. This underground lake is very popular because of the incredible beautiful and the water of the lake is healing water. Kow-Ata means "father of the caves". After lunch we will visit Nokhur which situated in Kopet Dag range. There are settlements with mountain tribes who saved for the centuries their culture and traditional crafts and architecture. The night is in the hotel. Day 3: Nokhur - Ashgabat - Kerki After the nice breakfast we will drive back to Ashgabat for a city tour and a night train to Kerki town. In the Ashgabat we will visit a Memorial Complex that has monuments was dedicated for the different historical facts. The first Memorial is a big monument of a bull and a child that was built in honor of those who died in the earthquake in 1948. Another memorial was built for those who died in the World War II. And the last one was built in honor of those who died in other Turkmen battles. After lunch we will go to Russian Market. The architecture of this market was a Russian architect Vladimir Visotin. The market was built in period from 1972 -1982. There was a program called "Ashgabat Reconstruction Program". And many other buildings were built during this program from 1970-1980. Everything was built in Soviet Modernism style and decorated by the Turkmen sculptor Klych Yarmamedov, who decorated the building of market with a wonderful sculpture in one of the corners. And we will take our train to Kerki. The night is in the train. Day 4: Kerki - Koytendag We will arrive to Kerki in the morning after nice night in the train. Then we will drive to the very east of Turkmenistan. We will visit the Koytendag mountain and nature place. Kugitangtau mountains are the most breathtaking mountains in Turkmenistan, the also called Koytendag. The name is translated as "mountains of the deep canyons" from Turkmen language. This mountains really have deep canyons with steep cliffs, that you can see the sky just in a form of narrow strip. This area is full of deepest lakes and longest canyons. The highest point of Turkmenistan is also in this mountains called Mount Ayrybaba ( 3 139m). The deepest lake in Koytendag is Kattakol. The night is in the camp. Day 5: Koitendag - Farap border In the morning is transfer to the border. Transport: 01-02 pax - Sedan 04-08 pax - Minibus 14 seats 10 pax - Bus (20 seats)
