Tour name: Unknown corner of the world Highlights of tour: Ashgabat, Kow-Ata, Darwaza, Nissa, Akhal-Teke horses. Day 1: Ashgabat You will land in the International airport of Ashgabat. Ashgabat is a capital of Turkmenistan from 1881 and is located 25km far from the north border with Iran. The name Ashgabat has a beautiful meaning from Persian language. "Eshg" means love and "abad" means populated. In your city tour will visit Lenin square, Park of Independence, Arch of Neutrality, Museum of Ethnography and Museum of Fine Arts. The night is in the hotel. Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow-Ata The underground lake Kow -Ata is located 107 km away from the capital. Today we will drive to this lake and can have a swim. The name Kow-Ata means "father of Caves". This lake is wonderfully beautiful. The size of the cave is 20m high and 57m wide. The water in the lake has 33-37°C. The color of the water is incredibly beautiful. Day 3: Kow-Ata - Darwaza This day we will visit the most incredible natural phenomenon. Darwaza gas crater is a wonderful place stay in the camp and enjoy the food near the huge oven listening the sounds it makes. The night is in the camp. Day 4: Darwaza - Ashgabat - Nisa - Horse farm - Ashgabat This day we will drive to Ashgabat from where we will drive to Nissa fortress which was a Sanctaury of Parthian Kings. Nissa fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site from 2007. Then we will drive to the horse farm in Gokdepe region. Akhal-Teke horse are the one of the best breeds in the world and it's the main pride of Turkmen people. We will return to Ashgabat and the night is in the hotel. Day 5: Flight In the morning is transfer to airport.
